Minimum requirements for OPC Registration in India

The eligibility criteria for registering a one person company in India are as follows:

Minimum one director and one nominee are required to register a one person company.
The director and shareholder can be same person
No minimum Capital requirement to register a One Person Company
At least one director must be a resident of India (that person must have stayed in India for at least 182 days in the previous financial year)
The OPC name should be unique and should not be identical or similar to any of the existing OPC.
OPC should have a registered office within India.
The OPC should not be engaged in any illegal or prohibited business activities.
Director Identification Number (DIN) and Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) are mandatory for the directors of the OPC.
